THIS WEEKS ANIME: NO GAME NO LIFE

This weeks anime is going to be a weekly post that I will start covering what anime I watched that week.  For the most part it will be one anime series a week unless I feel the need to post more than one. Seeing as I watch anime everyday I thought it would be a good idea to share what I watched that week and give brief thoughts on it. This weeks anime is No Game No Life

No Game No Life  is about 2 step siblings Sora and Shiro who happen to be legends in the online gaming world. One day they are challenged by a mysterious random gamer who calls himself Tet and claims to be a god from another world. The game they are challenged to is chess and they win the game and Tet offers them a chance to live in his world that is based on games. They accept this not believing it to be real and are transported to the new world. In this world there are rules no one can cause physical harm to anyone. To solve disputes the inhabitants of this world rely on gambling in different types of games. Along the way they meet Stephanie Dola  who is the duchess of the humans in this new world. The humans in this world reside in land called Elkia. Elkia has been on the decline and learning this Sora and Shiro decide to help by entering a tournament meant to decide the next ruler. They win the tournament and embark on a quest to defeat the other species and lands in this new world. Their ultimate goal is to challenge the god of this world to another game.

This anime is filled with lots of interesting characters and backstories. You will see the siblings test themselves against the civilians of this new world as they start to feel at home in this new world and superior despite in there world outside of online they are anti social. They learn more and more with each victory as they move closer to being able to challenge the god of this world. Along with cool backstories, interesting games, and characters for those that love fan service there is a ton of that in this anime as well.
