Today at Pax South I came across a game made by Surprise Attack Games Called Screen Cheat. This was a surprising new take on first person shooting and couch multiplayer. So you get a split screen just like any other couch multiplayer shooter but instead everyone is invisible on your section of the screen.
In order to know where and kill the opponent you have to cheat and look at the other persons section of the screen. It sounds weird and at first playing is different as well. But after you get the hang of looking at the other players screens you start to get the hang of it. This is one of those great party games to bring back local couch multiplayer. As well as couch multiplayer you can play online with up to 8 players and you will be able to see everyone's screen online as well. It has been available on on steam for about a year now and coming soon to Xbox 1 and Playstation 4.
