Nintendo NX NEEDS to Get THIS Right!




It's no surprise that the Wii U is an underpowered console compared to it's counterparts this gaming generation. And while that's definitely a hinderance and an obstacle for developers making games...




...it's not the biggest one. It seems the biggest hurdle for developers trying to port games to Wii U from other platforms is the vast differences and architecture. The differences so vast that some developers deem it necessary to create a new engine from the ground up to get their games to run well on Wii U.



Fusty Game, the developer of Hover let loose with some insight and tidbits about some of the issues they've been having issues getting the game to run on Wii U. It basically came down to Wii U's different architecture. Although they pledged to put the game together properly once they release the PC, PS4, and Xbox One versions of the game, this just highlights the ongoing difficulties developers are having with th hardware. These issues simply cannot carry over to Nintendo's next console, codenamed NX
